Three layers. The domain is registered and paid up for 10 years ahead, renewed on a rolling basis. The site itself is deliberately boring technology — one tiny server, a single database file, no build steps, no frameworks to rot — cheap enough to host for decades and mirrored so no single machine matters. And the record itself doesn't live only with us: every purchase is a public blockchain transaction, so the board can always be rebuilt from the chains themselves.

Every sold meme is baked to its exact pixels and served immutable. Sold images also get archived to Arweave — the permanent storage network where you pay once (about $21 per GiB) and an endowment funds replicated storage for 200+ years. The entire million-pixel board, fully sold, weighs well under a gigabyte — permanence costs us less than a pizza.

Because that's the whole point. Once your payment confirms on-chain, the pixels are carved in: the database physically refuses edits and deletions of paid records (enforced by triggers, not policy), and the on-chain receipt exists whether we like it or not. Nobody can remove your meme — including us, and including you. Buy pixels you're proud of.
